Hi there, I’ve got some £600 shoes listed on my Depop and someone messaged asking if they could pay using bank transfer.
Another thing, they asked to message on their number, which was just a bit weird. Also apparently their PayPal isn’t working.
anyway I’m not sure whether I should let them pay me via bank transfer as I don’t know if they’ll just recall the transaction claiming it was fraud etc.
please let me know whether I should proceed with the transaction or not.

If buyer doesn't have a working PayPal account, then don't use PayPal for the transaction. Just ask for bank transfer as payment. Or you can simply decline to sell to them if you're uncomfortable with it and just wait for another buyer without all these sob stories and a PayPal account that is in good standing.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
