Buyer claims item damaged , refund question

Sold a ring on eBay , posted in perfect condition but buyer claims 14 days later it arrived damaged and wants a refund. eBay said I have to refund. Buyer paid by PayPal and fees were deducted, will I be credited back the PayPal fees as transaction being cancelled? Thanks.

Sadly not anymore, you paid the fee to accept the payment in the first place AND for providing you with the service of issuing a refund for you.
