I recently tried to buy some stuff from a "famous" brand. However, the transaction didn't complete and now my amount is stuck, being "authorized".
Now my amount is stuck for more than 20 days.
I have asked the "famous" brand to cancel the authorization/pending order, but they are not ready to help and are saying paypal will release it themselves and they cannot do it.
When you pay a company (rather than an ebay seller or individual), then it is often pending until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment.
If they don't process that order and capture the pending payment then the pending status times out at 30 days post-payment.
Advice is voluntary. Kudos / Solution appreciated.
