For the first time ever , Amex payment declined for an ebay transaction. The card is fine. This has happened twice today. Switch to credit card payment on Ebay, everything is fine ??? Any ideas?
Probably caught the system at a inopportune time on maybe some bad/low signal/busy frequency internet connection on either end and it didn't take. Perhaps try the card again after several days (as a buffer zone). Tech is not infallible, especially with wifi connection strengths fluctuating, cloud computing sometimes it just doesn't catch or catch one part of the transaction, and not the another part.
