Added a new email. But money hasnt been received.

One of my clients made a mistake and sent a payment to an email that wasnt registered on Paypal. Luckily, the email is also mine, so I added the email to my account, but the money doesnt show up and my balance hasnt updated.

 

Is there some way to see if the payment is on hold? Because all I can find from the Paypal help section, is that it should update pretty quick.

 

Or does adding a new email count as a new account and will I have to wait 21 days?
