Add a payment method??! But I have a balance!

Hi guys,

I need your help please with this. I'm trying an Online Purchase through Paypal from Germany, but it not proceeding as it's asking me to add a payment method. Please note a debit card is already linked to my account. Why can't I use my balance?

In my case it shows the card but no balance.

I do have money in PayPal balance and

they are the same currency as the shopping invoice.

Hi @ITSAMAINE, 

That's a great question! Every transaction is processed through our internal security system. If the system detects any form of risk, it could block the payment from being sent or request a different funding source is used to help decrease risk.
