Accepting UnionPay for payments from China

In the past, it was possible to check a box in preferences to choose whether or not to accept UnionPay from Chinese users. This option seems to have disappeared - Is it still possible to accept UnionPay payments?

We have a business account and a personal account, but I can't see whether it's possible anywhere.

Does anyone know whether this is possible or has changed? Thanks in advance!

Thanks, I've just emailed PayPal while logged in to my account - However I don't hold much hope as I didn't get a response the two previous times I've contacted them to ask this exact question in the past few months...

Hi, were you able to find an answer? I'm looking for the same information. Basically, I want to know if a Chinese customer can pay me if I send him a paypal invoice? Thanks
