About Paypal account number

I want to refund from alliexpress merchant. He ask my paypal account number. I send him my account details but he said that is not a account number. Please help me to get my paypal account number . Thanks

your paypal account number is the email address you used to send him money

You cannot receive Paypal payments in your country but you can receive refunds.

BUT the seller has to click on the transaction in their paypal account and then click on the refund option at the bottom of the details page, then the refund would go back to the card you used to pay with.

The seller cannot send you a refund any other way.
