I keep on getting texts from people who have given me money using my phone number (with the +44) over the past few months - which has definitely gone out of their accounts! But when I click on the link to claim the money, it says I have got the money - but when I go into my account there is no money there and no record of a transaction, so I can’t go on resolutions! I checked my linked number and it was the number without the +44. I’ve made a seperate account using the +44 number and it’s still not letting me have it? Same message - the money is yours! Then when I go and check there is no money there - it has been months. £40 in the ether, thanks to PayPal, I need a resolution ASAP, because it’s essentially been stolen from me because of a technicality.
