Hello all! I recieved a 1099-K form from PayPal this year but I did not sell any goods through PayPal. I rent a house with 3 roommates and I pay the landlord with a check from my personal bank account. My roommates then compensate me for their portion of the bills through PayPal. I should've considered the fact that it would be a large amount over the course of the year but I assumed that if the payments were sent as "Friends and Family" that it would be okay. I never used PayPal to sell any goods or services but they say that they cannot help me now. Has anybody ever experienced something similar?
