I made a payment through paypal but it auto cancelled the order due to echeck taking too long but then a couple days later they still took the money out of my account for an order that no longer exists and now im in debt and i want to know why they took my money even though there is no reason to as the order was cancelled, so now i have to explain to my bank why im overdrawn but i don't even know why because there is no order or reason for them to have taken it. can i please get my money back as there is zero reason for it to have been taken in the first place.

When you cancel a payment those funds can't do a u-turn > they have to process through to paypal who will as the transaction was cancelled return them to your funding source (if you paid from your bank account or with a card), or credit your paypal balance (if it was funded from that balance), but that takes a few days and sometimes up to a week.

IF the payment does clear through to the seller then request a refund.
