Hi my friend has sent me some money from US to uk,wondering if the transfer is instant or wether it is held for processing

Sometimes payments can be held for review which takes up to 72 hours so it is marked as Pending, otherwise, it should be received fairly instant. All transactions can be subject to up to 21 days holds or up to 72 hour review.

1. What currency did he send, if it was USD then have you added that as a receiving currency to your UK paypal account?

Its always best to get them to send your own currency but unfortunately U.S users tend to think there is only one currency in the world...sigh.

2. Double check the email address that he used and ask him if its showing as pending or unclaimed with or withOUT a cancel option?

3. Is your email addy verified and have you received funds before?
