I want to know if i will transfer an amount from Egypt to a friend living in USA via my MASTER CARD, does Paypal tell any information about my friend's name or E-mail to my bank ? I mean, does my bank(the issuer of the Master Card) see any information about the recipient ? Or it just receive a message that i want to transfer a specific amount via Paypal ?
Thanks for reaching out! Your bank will see your friend's preferred "Credit Card Statement" name, if they have one set up, as a memo within the charge. The charge would also appear as “PayPal” along with the number 402-935-7733 on your bank or credit card statement.
