Paypal Balance

Hey guys, im currently having a problem, i have some monies left in my paypal balance, i preferred the payment to check if i have enough money in paypal balance before using my debit/credit card. But still, when i bought something, it's still charging me on my card instead of the paypal balance (I DO HAVE ENOUGH BALANCE) . Any help?

did you choose to use your card as primary source of payment?

I do so  I can earn points.

yes i did, did some test by buying some cheaper stuffs, still same, charging directly from my debit card

Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > second down click on update next to your prefered way to pay and put a dot in one of the options listed.

Are the funds in the correct currency as the person you are sending to accepts?
