How long does it take to receive amounts like 100usd to 300usd? It is sent using "Send to friends and family"

Paypal payments are more or less instant BUT if its a friends/family payment funded via a bank account then it will go as an echeque and show as pending i your paypal balance with a clearing date of about 5-7 days.
