Help receiving a payment

Hello,

 

I received a payment to my email address, but had not previously set up this address as a PayPal account. I followed the link in the email to confirm my address, which was successful, but still do not have the funds in my account. Also, I was never asked to input my confirmation code from the email.

 

How do I access my payment?
