We, a group of students, are looking into logistic solutions using the paypal api.
As many of you know delivery time of a product is a big thing in the supply chain right now, and we want to expand on this concept.
We want to make an application that looks at the contracted arrival date of X product, for example september 1st but let's say the product gets delivered on september 4th. The application knows that the product arrived 3 days late and will give the costumer a (x% * days product gets delivered late) cashback, maybe a partial refund or a automated cashback transaction
We would like to know if it's possible to automate this process with the paypal api, if anything is unclear please let me know.
