PP uses a cookie to check if the buyer has used PP previously and this determines which payment form the buyer is shown. If it finds a previous instance, it shows a PP login withe the buyers email address in the login. Lower down there is a obscure button suggesting use of a bank card.
A lot of buyers get confuses by this - particularly after all the PP brand dominance on the buttons. I reckon we loose business because some who want to use a bank card jsut give up.
Is there any way to get the system to default to "Guest Checkout" as per the image below. Such as deleting the cookie somehow?
