Latest version of Google Chrome hangs on second step of Paypal payment screen. It works fine with Firefox on the macbook. It also works with both firefox and chrome on Windows 10. So the problem is only with the Macbook version. I have latest version 89.0.4389 90 updated March 15th. Paypal representative says other people are having same problem, as they reported March 13.
