Is there a way to create a count down or a count of funds collected through our paypal account. This is for fundraising for our church. I would like to have a notification on our site to automatically show how much more we need to get to our goal. Scenario - we are trying to raise $400,000. Each time someone donates through paypal we would like a status on our site to auto update to reflect how much more we need to get to the $400,000.
I'm not sure what platform you're using, but this type of thing would have to be custom coded.
However, this wouldn't be too hard to custom code as you'd just need to take the amount from the API response after a successful PayPal transaction and add it to the counter.
The short answer is that this isn't currently available but it definitely could be custom coded.
