Is it possible to request a token for a customer's credit card, then use that token for future purchaes by that customer using PayFlow_dotNet.dll?

This is called a "reference transaction", and you can find details about this outlined in the PayFlow Developer Guide starting on page 40. (https://www.paypalobjects.com/webstatic/en_US/developer/docs/pdf/pp_payflowpro_guide.pdf)
