IPN is delayed.

Dear PayPal Community, We are facing an issue with IPN. We are not receiving payment status immediately after payment is successful. It is taking half and hour sometimes. We are unable to update user accounts automatically if the payment confirmation from PayPal via IPN is delayed. We are having a large number of complaints from our customers and we are losing some as a result. Please suggest the solution for this.
