Contact merchant to request a refund and report to this that it was a fraudulent transaction. You will find the email address in the payment transaction details. If they don't respond:
- Locate and click payment transaction in your PayPal account activity
- Click "Report a problem"
- Click “I want to report unauthorized activity”.
PayPal dispute system don't always get it right so if your claim is denied, contact customer service to have claim reviewed. Also check with your household to see if anyone used your account without permission. (PayPal won't cover you if you gave your account access to someone.) Your last recourse would be disputing via credit card, if that is how you paid.
