"Update paypal integreation" emails, and add to cart buttons

I have a website that sells multiple products. Currently I am using the "add to cart" button beneath each item allowing customers to add the items they want before checking out.
I keep getting emails from paypal to "update my integration", with links that take me to pages that I am unable to decipher. I called the Paypal support line numerous times and was given many different, incomplete, and conflicting answers to my questions. I need an add to cart button, not the new buttons they offer now which make people check out immediately.

I would like to have the option for Venmo and credits cards but not if it means giving up the 'add to cart' feature.

I was told all the older buttons, like what I am using, will stop working at some point. Then I was told by other tech support people they will continue to work and will not be phased out if you're already using them. I sent emails asking for someone to contact me, received a response, scheduled a time for a phone call, but never heard from anyone.

I have a basic knowledge of HTML but have no understanding of the advanced language used on the paypal site about these new buttons. How are we supposed to know what to do, especially given the fact that when we reach out to customer support we get conflicting answers and employees telling us they don't know the answers to our questions?
