"Charge" button not working when hand-entering credit card info

We use PayPal Here as our primary POS for credit card donations.  Lately I can enter all of the credit card information into a mobile device, via the PayPal Here app, but even when complete, the "Charge" button remains gray and un-selectable.  Anybody know a workaround?  

 

We have a big fundraiser tomorrow and this will be important to resolve.

I've run into this in the past and completely forgot what the issue was, and it is likely this:

 

EITHER the card number is entered incorrectly, or the exp. date, or the CSC code.  Regardless, these don't match up, and PayPal cross-checks these in real time, so they can't complete the charge.  Simple typo issue somewhere.
