after years of successful work with paypal the module has been causing fatal errors since a few days . After logging in to PayPal and the final confirmation of payment, an error page appears with error 403 (Forbidden You do not have permission to access this document.)
The page causing the error is ...module/paypal/pppValidation?short_cut=1
This is extremely confusing for our customers because they believe the money has been debited from PayPal but no confirmation of the order follows. We have now switched off the PayPal module to stop this behavior that is damaging our business
