card transaction error message appears "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again."

When customer submit card transaction error message appears "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again." and this appears even if you try again and again. Another note, Customer card is getting debited for amount 3.79 and same time its getting refunded. The transaction is not going through. Pls support to resolve this issue.

Could you please confirm whether your still facing the issue?

 

Please refer PayPal status page : https://www.paypal-status.com/history/production

 

I would suggest to please process a test payment via card which is not linked to your PayPal account. Since, merchant can't process self payments.

 

If your still facing any issues, please create a MTS ticket via - https://www.paypal-support.com/s/?language=en_US  with the detail information and error details.
