card payment getting error "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again."

Clicking on Add to cart and after filling all the card details for payment getting error "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again." I tried multiple times but could not succeed. What could be reason for this issue?

Could you please confirm whether your still facing the issue?

 

Please refer PayPal status page : https://www.paypal-status.com/history/production

 

I would suggest to please process a test payment via card which is not linked to your PayPal account. Since, merchant can't process self payments.

 

If your still facing any issues, please create a MTS ticket via - https://www.paypal-support.com/s/?language=en_US  with the detail information and error details.

Best to connect to Help center, same i did and it started working. They have to link some codes, for which they will call you.

To receive guest checkout payments :

Enable the PayPal Account Optional option in your account settings.

Login PayPal.com >> Settings >> Account settings >> Website payments >> Website preferences >> PayPal Account Optional >> toggle "yes" .

 

Once the above settings is done, please process a test payment via card which is not linked to your PayPal account. Since, merchant can't process self payments.

 

If your still facing any issues, please create a MTS ticket via - https://www.paypal-support.com/s/?language=en_US  with the detail information and error details.
