We have a local application which allows us to create Sales Orders for our customers and we want to be able to use Paypal Smart Buttons with this application.
So the local app creates an order and we email this to our customer long with a Smart Button which gives them a very easy way to pay.
The developer of our application tells me that he can add the Smart Buttons but that they will need to have access to ‘a publicly accessible web server that can host an HTML file with javascript in it’.
I have a webserver for the ecommerce side of our business - can I use this and does the page need to reside within its own domain?
