I created 2 Smart Buttons for 2 different products on my website. They appear and they function, but they won't accept my payment. I understand that I can't use my PayPal account to pay myself, but I am trying to test the Debit/Credit card button. I put in my card info and when I click Pay Now it gives me this error message:
We're sorry, but we weren't able to add this card. Try again later or add a different card.
I am not trying to add a card, I am trying to make a payment.
Update: I tested my credit card against the Sandbox and it worked. It gave me the Thank you for your payment message. So I think it may be related to the setup in my account, but I'm not sure.

Good day @DallasSteve,
Thank you for contacting PayPal community.
Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Sandbox is test environment and working fine with test card details.
Test credit card used for Sandbox test environment can't to processed via LIVE production.
This error usually occurs when there is an issue with the funding source.
Can you please cross check your funding source and try using different/valid card details while processing LIVE payments.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.
Sincerely,
Chiranjeevi

I tried using 2 different credit cards and 1 debit card and they all gave me the same error message saying that is can't "add" the credit card. I'm not trying to add a credit card. I'm trying to make a payment using my smart button. I contacted your customer service and they told me it's because I can't make a payment on my own account but I am not using the credit card in my PayPal account so I doubt that explanation.
