Obviously, I landed here as a last desperate resort cause I couldn't talk to a human who can help with the issue. The other frustrating part is that I am not even sure this is the right category my issue falls under, I may be wasting more time and other people's time as well.
I am working on setting up PayPal as a payment gateway for a Wordpress Plugin ( Give) for donations.
The paypal account type I have is "Business". The form I have is now working with the test donation setting.
I currently am trying to switch to PayPal to go live. Give has this setting page where you connect to PayPal from the Plugin. The issue pops up the moment I try to connect.
The Modal is asking me to either create a business account or login to a business account. Since I do have a PayPal account type "Business" I am trying to login. ( I promise that I am entering the correct credentials) I even typed them without blinking using one finger for each key!
I desperately went ahead and created an account with the same email address as the principal account I have and it kinda did it. So... this is for me confusing as hell. What is this connection it is asking me for? And how come I cannot login? And how come it allows a duplicate? And how do I resolve this issue to move on?
So, dear community. HELP!
