Paypal payment link (Dutch account) does not work in Latin America countries

Our training program works with a voluntary fee for participants. However, I get back from participants in Latin American countries (a.o. Ecuador) that the page does not exist. From other places (so far tested), the link is working. Your support is highly appreciated!

Good day @AnneVijverberg,

Thank you for posting to the PayPal community.

PayPal Website Payments Standard (WPS) is a legacy integration.

I have reviewed the attachment and could see that your trying process donation via "Donate" button.

PayPal is an accepted method of payment in over 200 countries and regions. You can find the full list here. Click your country/region’s flag to see what services we offer.

Could you please try to process a test donation via card which is not linked to your PayPal account, since merchants can't process self payments.

Important : We recommend merchants to integrate our latest PayPal Checkout (Smart button) product soon.

Please follow the below steps via your PayPal account.

Login PayPal.com >> click on "settings icon" >> go to "Account settings" >> Website payments >> PayPal buttons >> select button type >> fill all the required details.

(Or)

Login PayPal.com >> go to direct link "https://www.paypal.com/buttons/" >> follow the above steps

If your still facing any issues, please create a MTS ticket via - https://www.paypal-support.com/s/?language=en_US  with the detail information and error details.

Sincerely,
