Paypal Payment method not saved

Hi,
I need some help
As customers are facing issues while renewing their subscriptions. The PayPal payment method is not being saved for renewals on customer accounts. please guide me on why the payment method is not being saved.
As i am managing my client's website, studybase.com. As previously mentioned, customers visit the website to purchase a monthly course using PayPal as the payment method. Although the PayPal transaction is successful, when the monthly cycle comes around, the auto-payment is not deducted because the customer's payment method is not saved and the WooCommerce transaction is put on hold. here is the screenshots to illustrate the issue if needed.
The plugins I am using - WooCommerce, WooCommerce PayPal Payments, WooCommerce All Products For Subscriptions

Can you please advise if I need to inform my client about the reference transaction in Paypal?

It seems like the issue may be related to the WooCommerce setup or the interaction with the payment plugins. Ensure that the WooCommerce settings for subscriptions are configured correctly, and check if there are any conflicting settings between the plugins. Also, verify if your PayPal account supports reference transactions, as they are essential for recurring payments. Informing your client about reference transactions in PayPal is a good idea, as it might be necessary for the seamless processing of recurring payments. If the issue persists, reviewing the screenshots might provide additional insights into the problem.

Good day @Waseemuddin63

Thank you for posting to the PayPal community.

Enabling reference transactions may potentially resolve the issue of the payment method not being saved for renewals.

To enable reference transactions for your LIVE accounts, I would suggest to please contact our PayPal Customer service via link -  https://www.paypal.com/smarthelp/contact-us (then choose at the bottom one of the contact methods - email or phone) who should be able to help you regarding the request.

Third party WooCommerce develops their own modules/plugins.

I would suggest to please contact your website developer or the support of the third-party platform (WooCommerce) to cross check the integration code.

If you are still experiencing issues, please create an MTS ticket via the following URL -  https://www.paypal-support.com/s/?language=en_US . Please ensure that you provide detailed information and error details when submitting the ticket.

Sincerely,

Kavya
