Payment notification e-mail has incorrect product description

I have just received a "Notification of payment received" e-mail from PayPal.   The "Description:" in the e-mail's "Purchase Details" of the item I'm supposed to ship the customer is not showing the item the customer selected in the drop-down box ("option value" in the code), but instead is showing the heading of the drop-down box ("input type" in the code).  So I don't know which selection in the drop-down box the customer wants.  Here is the code PayPal has generated for this button:
