PayPal and Google Pay

I am trying to link my PayPal account to my Google Pay but trying to contact either company is IMPOSSIBLE!!

Can anybody on here help please?

I am running Google Pay on an Android tablet.

Thank you for contacting PayPal community.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

You can add PayPal to Google Pay through the Google Pay app or through the PayPal app.

To add through the PayPal app, tap the Settings gear icon, then Google Pay, then Set it Up.

To add though the Google Pay app, log in to Google Pay and tap Payment at the bottom of the page, then tap + Payment Method.

Not working for me either of these two ways! Keep getting message "Sorry, we can't add your PayPal account to Google Pay at this time" Maddening! Help, please!
