I use a personal PayPal button to effect variable donations from users of my website. I have a return URL (and cancel URL) cited in the button.
Automatic return is OFF in my profile.
When a successful donation has been completed, PayPal offers a link to my return URL and delays doing anything else for about 8 or 10 seconds. If the link is clicked within that time, everything is fine and my website URL is accessed as expected. But delay for 8 or 10 seconds and PayPal hangs.
How do I avoid the delayed behavior?
