Issues with PayPal / PayGate integration

We use PayGate as payment portal and PayPal for international transactions. Since 4 November we have been  experiencing problems with PayPal transactions being unsuccessful - in the PayGate portal it shows 'bank time-out'.

Any one else with the same problem? Or advise how to fix this?

PayGate has been notified of the problem and is investigating.
