I am unable to connect to PayPal with Crdei or Debit cards

I am using JotForm.  I am able to connect from Jotform to Paypal (business account)  When I enable the option for Credits and debit cards my connection to PayPal fails.  I remove the Credit/Debit card option and am able to connect and receive payments.  While setting this up I received and email from PayPal stating:

Your application for advanced debit and credit card payments has been declined

Very frustrated trying to contact PayPal support.

What do I need to do to verify or setup so that my customers can use Credit/Debit cards?

Thank you for posting to the PayPal community.

 

Yes, merchant should be approved to setup "Set up advanced credit and debit card payments".

 

Regarding declined applications issue, please contact our PayPal Customer service via link - https://www.paypal.com/smarthelp/contact-us (then choose at the bottom one of the contact methods - email or phone) who should be able to help you regarding the request.

 

They will be able to assist you further as they are specially trained to address this type of account inquiry.

 

Important : Before you go live:

  1. Log into the PayPal Developer Dashboard with your PayPal business account.
  2. Complete production oboarding so you can process cards with your live PayPal business account.
  3. Request Advanced Credit and Debit Card Payments for your business account to accept card payments on your website.
