Getting errors while tying to open PayPal payment window

I'm using chargebee's payment integration, I've already contacted them, but it seems to be a paypal issue, only the paypal part of the payment processor isn't working. When I try to open the payment window, it fails and closes, looking closely at the network requests I find a logger request with the follow error stack:

    at Object.w.<computed> [as postrobot_message_response] (https://www.paypalobjects.com/api/checkout.min.js:2:116347)
    at L (https://www.paypalobjects.com/api/checkout.min.js:2:117244)
    at _ (https://www.paypalobjects.com/api/checkout.min.js:2:117487)

This happens on both live and sandbox sites.
