We are a startup company and are building a platform to bridge customers and merchants and earn commission between them.
On the one hand, we would like to charge customers with all kinds (credit card, apple pay, or other ways). On the other hand, we need to pay merchants to their paypal accounts.
Paying merchants with their paypal accounts is due to the reason that merchants only want to share limited information with us. So we guess paypal account is the only thing we can select. Bank account requires too much information from them, and this way is not possible.
Currently, we are thinking using Braintree and Paypal together as a solution. We charge customer with Braintree to accpet all kinds of payment. Then, linking Braintree and PayPal to sync all fund in Braintree to PayPal, and from there we payout our merchants.
In a word, the charge from and refund to customer is done in Braintree, if there is any. And payout to merchants is done in PayPal.
Not so sure about this idea. Or You have much better solution for us? Can you show me some doc about the fund sync between Braintree and PayPal? Many thanks.
