Express checkout problem

I did activate paypal express checkout via my shopify account and it's status is "active" problem is when trying to use the checkout on my website it gives this error message while loading the page

"Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again". and checkout process can't be done 

please note that i deactivated "2checkout" gateway as i used it before on my website and enabled "Guest checkout" at my paypal account.

Thank you for posting to the PayPal community.

 

Third party eCommerce develops their own plugins/modules.

 

I would suggest to please contact your website developer or the support of the third party platform(eCommerce) to cross check your button code and pass the valid payment requests to PayPal system. 

 

Also, please process a test payment via card which is not linked to your PayPal account, since merchants can't perform self payments.

 

Important : Express Checkout - NVP/SOAP  is deprecated.

 

We recommend merchants to integrate our latest PayPal Checkout (Smart button) product.

Please follow the below steps via your PayPal account. 

Login PayPal.com >> click on "settings icon" >> go to "Account settings" >> Website payments >> PayPal buttons >> select "Smart Buttons" button type >> fill all the required details.

(Or)

Login PayPal.com >> go to direct link "https://www.paypal.com/buttons/" >> follow the above steps
