When I don't add "locale" to the SDK arguments, the credit card button works fine, showing payment fields on my page (screen below).
It considers the default country as US and the language is English, but it's possible to change (or to set County as Brazil in advance when Creating the Order order.payer.address.country_code: 'BR').
Now if I set the locale directly on SDK call (as below), the language works fine but the button redirects the user to paypal
