Can't set up IPN on client's account

Hello!
I have a slight problem with the PayPal interface, or better said my client does.
I am working on a WordPress website that wants to implement paid membership subscription (with the Paid Membership Subscriptions plugin), and in order to get the payments to work, the plugin requests that the account has IPN turned on and set to a certain link.
The only problem is, when I try to guide my client into setting up her IPN, she keeps getting the "Sorry, your last action could not be completed" error.
I have guided her into trying several different browsers, as well as different devices (2 phones and 2 computers), but nothing seems to be able to open up the page properly for her. Also, on my account it works just fine. I have tried this in several different days, at several different hours and nothing seems to work.
