Buy Now button not working

I'm trying to add a Buy Now button to my website.  I went through the button creation process.  I clicked on Select Code and I copied and pasted the code to my web page.  When I display my web page the button appears.  When I click on the button I see my page flickers for a moment, but nothing else happens.  Is there something else I need to do to get it to work?  When I select the code it has a choice for remove protection that changes the code in the box.  Should I remove the protection before I Select Code?

He's an update to my question.  I did a Google search.  I am using an ASP.NET page and it appears that I must do something different for it to work on my page.  Here is a Stack Overflow question about this.  I think I am going to try the solution that ends the form tag before entering the Buy Now button.
