Add to Cart button does not work. View Cart shows "Your cart is empty"

I'm using a PayPal Business account.

I've  had a Business Pro account for many years but just starting to use Add to Cart buttons now.
I've got a properly formed "Add to Cart" button and "View Cart" button.
The html for both on my website matches is correct, but nothing gets added to the cart.
The page on which both buttons reside is secured (https).

What to do?

Any input is welcome.

I have this same issue. It just leads to "cart is empty". It sometimes works but other times it doesn't.

For me it is similar but a bit different than what is described in the linked you sent. Someone first used the "buy it now" but he said he can only buy 1 item. So I sent him the link to "add to cart", which I tested the link myself and it worked for me until after he tried. When he tried, it just said "your cart is empty". Then, I tried a second time but at that point it said the same thing for me and it hasn't worked since. I don't have a limit set on how many items can be purchased. It is set to unlimited.

Having the same problem. I didn't see any solution on the related thread.

It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
