Paid - arrived - can't use??? WHAT???

So the card reader arrived - looks like a nice neat unit.

I pair it with my phone and try to get the app working.

 

SORRY, YOU CAN'T - due to failed credit check ????

 

What??? I haven't asked for any credit, what are you talking about??

 

Am I now left with a device I can't use?

 

Replied to the email and got no response.... either sort it or give me a refund immediately please.

 

PS: Why would you need to do a credit check for me to accept money using the same methods that I already use through Paypal itself?? Makes no sense to me

Right or wrong, I get bored contact customer services departments these days after 1 attempt.

Paypal can contact me now - happy for them to reply here and give me some explanation though, I can't be the only one this has happened to.

They won't reply here or contact you.

 

Even the moderators that post on here and work for paypal cannot view your account but would suggest you contact them via customer services. 

 

Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
