The first time I went to use the PayPal app on my new iPhone, it asked me to login. On my previous iPhone, I was already set up and could simply login using my fingerprint ID. I didn't remember the password, so when I got home and looked it up, I tried to login again on my new iPhone. I kept getting "it seems you are not connected to a network" even though other apps were working fine over the network. Somewhere I saw someone had solved a similar problem by simply turning off WiFi and Cellular in settings and then turning them on again. Indeed, this worked for me. I thought I'd post it here and possibly help someone else with this simple solution to an annoying quirk.
