There is nothing quite like working on your own time, your own terms [for the most part ], and in your own environment.

Such has been my life as a style blogger, freelance writer and PR associate the past few years. Freelancing has its ups and downs, sure, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I mean, how many people can say they do their daily work while sitting comfortably in bed?

This is where you'll find me most days: snuggled nicely between bed covers and pillows, surrounded by all the pretty clothes and things I love to write about -- cup of coffee optional but often preferred.

What makes my workstation special is that it is inspired by seasons. Recently, I had a summer-inspired workstation. I adorned it with fresh flowers and my summer essentials. Aside from my laptop, I also had my tablet for helpful apps. When summer is in full bloom, I get inspired to work more because of the beauty of nature. It simply touches my heart.

This is where I can work without distractions. It is special because it features my favorite books - everything from The Diary of Anne Frank to The Swiss Family Robinsons, The Little Prince, Bound for Oregon, Harriet the Spy, The Long Secret to Nancy Drew Mystery Stories.. and of course, my books for college because I am not just a freelance writer but also a student. Basically, I am a work-at-home mom in the day and student mom at night. Cool, isn't it?

My workstation is not fancy like the others but it's cozy for me and special at the same time. I love working on it and I can also read if I don't feel like working at all.

My favorite time of the day is when I am having my afternoon coffee breaks:D
