Paypal balance from MyPoints rewards

I should be getting $50 added to my PayPal balance as a reward from MyPoints.com. (never had money added to my balance before, always just paid with my credit card or bank account) I want to make a purchase using that money, however, it says it will take 4-5 days to process, and the seller would like to finish the sale as soon as possible. Is it possible to make the purchase now using my bank account, then when the $50 comes from MyPoints, just have that transferred into my bank account? (transferring to a bank account is free from what I read)  Really didn't want to make the purchase, then suddenly not be able to transfer the funds, and be stuck with $50 sitting in PayPal that I would need to use elsewhere.
