I want to pay for a transaction with $400 I have left on Paypal Buyer Credit and $100 from my bank account, without having to wait 2 days for a payment to post on my credit account to free up funds... is this possible???

You can pay with balance and your Credit Card. Unfortunately, you cannot split between bank and PayPal Credit. It is a nice feature to have.
